yahoo messenger 8

i can not close Yahoo messenger 9 using the X button. I can only close using the popup menu on the tray icon.
i can not even minimze or maximize...

Be sure to file the bug report with MS and give feedback to Yahoo.

Switch Yahoo messenger skin to "Classic".

Change Yahoo's skin to "Classic". Look under "Appearance".
Several programs that have the ability to change the "skin"- some of those skins do not work well in Vista, especially with Aero glass. In those cases, using a basic or "classic" skin usually fixes most of those issues.
